The role of the Coach — both in and out of workplace — continues to evolve. As companies recognise the need for enhanced leadership, increased staff productivity and wellbeing programmes to help deal with the issues of stress, many are turning to Coaching solutions. Also, “the Manager as a Coach” is another trend which is proving to have staying power.
As we enter the age of individualism, especially with the younger population or Generation y, Coaching as an empowering system, supports these emerging needs. Spirituality is also on the rise for Generation x, as many have now fulfilled their material goals and are turning to personal coaching to help them find inner meaning, balance or making a greater contribution to society.
